Opal M. Dunkirk

	Opal M. Dunkirk, 84, of Taylorville, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2000 at 5 p.m. at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.
	 Mrs. Dunkirk was a retired homemaker and a member of United Methodist Church in Taylorville.  
	She was born February 8, 1916 at Morrisonville, the daughter of Dennis and Lottie Becker Wilbur.  She married Earl A. Dunkirk on September 21, 1934 at Morrisonville and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1934.
	Surviving are sons:  Donald and wife Shirley Dunkirk of Talorville, Dennis Dunkirk of Taylorville and Gary and wife Mimi Dunkirk of Taylorville; she also raised her grandson:  Billy Dunkirk of Taylorville; daughters:  Shirley and husband Joe Clark of Taylorville, Ruth and husband Wayne Canfield of Taylorville, Judy and husband Charles McMillen of Taylorville, Linda Berriman of Mt. Zion and Mary and husband Steve Ramey of Valier; brother:  Roy Wilbur of Taylorville; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter and nieces, nephews and cousins.
	Mrs. Dunkirk was preceded in death by her husband:  Earl Dunkirk; Son:  Larry Dunkirk; Brothers:  Dennis Wilbur, Merle Wilbur and Glen Wilbur and Sisters:  Helen Jones, Hazel Hamilton and Ruth Wilbur.
	Funeral services were Friday, June 23, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home Chapel in Taylorville with Rev. Michael D. Branch officiating.  Interment was in Morrisonville Cemetery in Morrisonville.
	Visitation was Thursday, June 22, 2000 from 5 until 8 p.m.
